February * Hog Heaven Rescue Farm has been selected as the Groundhog chili cook-off fundraiser recipient in Punxsutawney, Pa. on Feb 1st.
Regina will be there for the fundraiser and may even be one of the chili judges.

* We are once again blessed to be invited by Barb Grossman to have a fund raiser for Hog Heaven at the 7th annual Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Fest. This year the event is 3 days! Feb 11th, 12th and 13th. Visit http://www.pghknitandcrochet.com. The event is to be held at the Four Points Sheraton in Cranberry Pa. Due to being a three day event and some of our dedicated volunteers coming from far ... Hog Heaven will have rooms available (for sharing). Please get in touch with Regina for more details.

March* March 5th. Biscuit Bingo. Guardian Angels Church, Stuben St., Pittsburgh. Doors open at 10 A.M. and bingo starts at noon. This will be the 13th year that Officer Christine Luffey has held the bingo to raise funds for animal rescue/shelters. This year we will be taking care of the kitchen as well and need more hands for instant tickets and bingo cards. We will need extra volunteers to help cover the kitchen and the instant games... even if we get shifts for 2 hours each. We are also looking for guest bingo callers for a game or two. We need everyone to start collecting brown paper bags.. remember how easy clean up was due to having the bags at each table? Hot dogs and kraut / chili/ veggi dogs / toco chips and cheese / pop/ water/ coffee. All items will be $1.

Mar 9th. A great time was had by all and the shelters/rescues that attended did very well this year.. thanks to my helpers and also our supporters!
